Positano is the first jewel of the divine Amalfi Coast . Once again, nature has created a fantastic and enchanting landscape that words can hardly describe. To speak of the unique villages sloping down from these expansive rocks to the shores of charming little beaches. To describe the colors of the water and the sky, to capture their infinite nuances, is not to convey the sensation that only the sight of these places can offer. Its picturesque towns, spread across the terraces of the land and perched on the rocks, are crisscrossed by narrow streets and stairways that sometimes descend steeply and windingly to the sea, sometimes winding under arches and clinging to the mountainside. The architecture of the houses is also unique: the facades of the homes feature large loggias, and the roofs sometimes end in a dome. Among these, the dome of the church of Santa Maria Assunta stands out.
