The town of Maiori lies just beyond the short promontory that separates it from Minori . Despite the long coastline, the landscape and town are not at all different from the many villages along the Amalfi Coast . A visit to Maiori can focus on the churches of Santa Maria a Mare and Santa Maria delle Grazie.

Near the town there are also some wonderful caves which, due to the color of the water and their shape, recall the more famous ones, the Emerald Cave in Conca dei Marini and the Blue Cave in Capri.
